Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-07-20
1) Agreement
By using Cafe QR Menu (the “Service”) — including the owner/admin web app, guest menu pages opened via QR codes, and optional integrations such as Telegram — you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you operate the Service on your own infrastructure, you are responsible for compliance with applicable law and for notices to your guests and staff.
2) What the Service provides
- Digital menu presentation and updates for a cafe or restaurant.
- Table-based ordering flows where enabled (guest selects items and submits an order).
- Owner tools for menu structure, items, prices, availability, tables/QR codes, orders, and staff notifications where configured.
- Optional features such as menu import from files/images, AI-assisted drafts, and translations — depending on server configuration.
3) Accounts and access
Owner access may require credentials (for example cafe slug and password) or a Telegram-linked flow as configured on the server. You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and for activity under your account. The operator of the deployed instance may suspend access for security or abuse.
4) Subscription and billing
- The current Beginner subscription is EUR 5 per month or EUR 50 per year. The applicable price and billing interval are displayed in Checkout before you confirm payment.
- Any free access granted before Checkout is separate from the paid subscription and does not create an additional Stripe trial. Billing starts when you confirm the subscription.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- The subscription renews automatically at the selected monthly or annual interval until you cancel it in the owner payment settings or through the Stripe customer portal.
- Cancellation stops future renewals. Access normally remains available until the end of the already paid billing period.
- Taxes, if applicable, may be calculated and collected by Stripe according to your billing details and local rules.
- Refund requests are reviewed case by case. Unless required by law or agreed separately, paid subscription periods are not automatically refunded after renewal.
5) Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service to violate law, infringe third-party rights, or distribute malware.
- Do not attempt unauthorized access to other tenants’ data, the hosting environment, or upstream APIs.
- Guest-facing content (menu text, images, prices) must be lawful and appropriate for a public restaurant context.
6) Guest orders, payments, and liability
Guest order placement, restaurant-side payment collection, tax, refunds, and disputes are handled according to your business practices and local regulations. The Service provides technical means to record and display orders; it does not replace your obligations to guests unless you explicitly configure and advertise otherwise. The software is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law; liability limits follow applicable jurisdiction and your deployment agreement with the host.
7) Third-party services
Integrations (for example Stripe for subscription payments, Telegram for notifications or WebApp entry) are subject to those providers’ terms. AI or translation features depend on external APIs when enabled by configuration; usage and retention follow the Privacy Policy and your server settings.
8) Changes
We may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
9) Contact
Support: set SUPPORT_EMAIL in .env on the server.
